Surfers Paradise...

Surfing...Surfing!!!
Surfers Paradise is the name of a city in Queensland, Australia.
The town only has a permanent population of about 19,000 but add in tourist and the city swells to 75,000. This year round tourist spot is a huge draw for Ozzies and foreign visitors. The weather is great year round. The surf is pretty consistent and the water is warm. There is a few clubs and bars. It is a great place to visit for a long time.

Suisun Valley...really?

I just went to a little market in Fairfield and believe it or not it was a pretty interesting spot.
The name of the place is Erickson Ranch. They sell tons of fresh fruits and veg. The thing I thought was cool and is what I want to talk about are the PEPPERS. They have a few types of peppers there; ranging from sweet peppers to hot peppers. What they do is fill one of those metal bingo spinning machines full of them. Then they light three propane touches underneath it and torch the crap out of the peppers while it spins. The pepper turn black but taste super good. It's not a place your going to stay at from more then a few minutes but it's worth it to get the peppers.

Australia or OZ

Australia is one of the sickest place on earth. Great beaches, great surf, parties, interesting people, places... the list goes on and on. What I am going to do is break it down by cities.
Best cities for surfing:
1. Maroochydore (Queenslands) not big waves but always hot and fun.
2. Newcastle (NSW) only in the winter though. Summer equals inconsistent and flat.
I'm biased about Newy because that's were I spent a lot of time.
3. Surfers Paradise (Queensland) Great surf but always crowded.
4. Bondi beach (NSW) I put that in there only because its popular.
5. Melbourne (pronounced Mel-bin) Great surf. Huge! but cold because the swell comes from the Antarctic.

If you are really curious about these place and have google earth, check them out.

I need some ideas!!!

So for this blog I want to make an underground travelers guide. I want it to be local, hip and something that you can't find anywhere else. The format I want to go with is local spots, national spot and international spot. I also want to put in pictures and videos of great local places to travel to. So if you have any info about great bars, music spots, surf spot, great downtowns, tiny cafe please let me know so I can add it.

Under Construction.

Coming soon! The greatest site ever!
